Vice President, Events
As Vice President, Events – Auzin leads our team of producers and project managers as they work with clients, vendors, and partners to make memories through our events. A 14-year event industry veteran, Auzin uses the sum of experiences and leadership skills to oversee projects agency-wide, problem solve challenges, and support the events team. Her positive attitude and warm energy are essential to our collaborative office environment.
Prior to joining The Dufour Collaborative, Auzin worked in the Office of Special Events and Protocol at Smithsonian Institution, the largest museum, education, and research complex in the world. She was lead on a number of Institution-wide priority projects including the Opening of the Molina Gallery for the National Museum of the American Latino, Smithsonian’s 175th Anniversary, along with the 2021 Futures Exhibition Opening in the Arts & Industries Building after a 20 year building hiatus, also managing large scale museum events.
Auzin has extensive experience in protocol and diplomatic relations, formerly a Senior Major Events Manager at the U.S. Department of State. While at the State Department Auzin led events of varying sizes that included participation of world leaders, diplomats, statesmen, and Members of Congress.
