Clayton, is a mission-driven nonprofit professional with eight years of experience building meaningful relationships and creating communities where people feel connected, engaged, and inspired to give back.

Originally from Roanoke, Virginia, Clayton discovered his passion for the arts through classical ballet training before earning a B.F.A. in Dance from George Mason University. His career has spanned event planning, project management, artistic operations, and nonprofit leadership. He served on both the curatorial and artist services teams at international dance festival Jacob’s Pillow before working as Artistic Coordinator at The Washington Ballet, where he spent four seasons. Most recently, he served as Associate Director of Alumni Engagement at Sidwell Friends School, combining his love of relationship-building, event planning, and strategic engagement.
