A DC-based event professional since 2003, Elizabeth Makkai brings a unique and varied level of technical, site layout, infrastructure, and logistics expertise to every project. Elizabeth has overseen a variety of large and complex events both nationally and internationally. Her extensive event experience informs her work as an Executive Producer, including the design and management of AV plans, tenting, staging, logistics, meeting management, and hospitality for events of all sizes.

Her solutions-oriented approach and client success focus enable her to deftly navigate events involving high-level dignitaries and complicated logistics with ease. Elizabeth’s unique ability to deliver innovative solutions and consistently exceed clients’ expectations has earned her an outstanding reputation in the events industry.

Elizabeth has enjoyed a long and successful track record of producing and supporting high-visibility, large format, milestone events including but not limited to: Halifax International Security Forum,the dedication of the Dwight D. Eisenhower Memorial, Mass of Pope Francis, the Inauguration of President Barack Obama, Perimeter Security Logistics, and the Groundbreaking of the National Museum of African American History & Culture.
