Emilie is a six-year veteran of the hospitality and events industry with extensive experience working in experiential services within fast paced venues. Formally educated in theatre and film at James Madison University, Emilie began her career managing a variety of productions on Norwegian Cruise Lines. Upon joining Virgin Voyages in 2021 Emilie created, managed, and executed a variety of shows and programming for the inaugural launches of both Scarlet Lady and Valiant Lady – the first two ships in Richard Branson’s cruise line fleet. Following her tenure in the cruising industry, Emilie worked as Assistant Manager of Campus Rentals at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts coordinating small to large scale events in the numerous event spaces and theaters. As an operations manager at The Dufour Collaborative Emilie oversees all office operations, the management and dispatch of event resources, on-site staffing, and the office of the President among other responsibilities. When not at work, Emilie is an avid photographer enjoying both traveling and film.
