As Senior Vice President, Event Strategy + Storytelling at The Dufour Collaborative, Lorena leverages her extensive experience and creative mindset to manage high-profile clients, oversee operational budgets, and drive both the content and production of many signature events.

Notable career highlights for Lorena as Executive Producer and Stage Director include The Smithsonian’s National Museum of Asian Arts 100th Anniversary Celebration, The Fulbright Program’s 75th Anniversary Celebration at The John F. Kennedy Center of the Performing Arts, The Blair House Foundation’s 200th Centennial Celebration held at The Department of State and hosted by Secretary of State Antony Blinken, The Shakespeare Theater Company’s gala honoring John Lithgow, Judith Light, and Indira Varma, and the annual Elizabeth Dole Foundation’s gala honoring military caregivers hosted by Tom Hanks and Savannah Guthrie featuring notables such as Adam Driver, Hilary Swank, Tim McGraw, and The War and Treaty.

Additional career highlights include Executive in Charge of Production & General Manager for Women in The World Media/Tina Brown Live Media spearheading the execution of multiple national and international high-profile events, including the annual award-winning Women in The World New York Summit at Lincoln Center featuring Oprah Winfrey Hillary Rodham Clinton, Meryl Streep and Angelina Jolie to name a few; and as Executive Producer of the inaugural Global Citizen PRIZE Dinner and NOW Summit.

Lorena has held executive positions at The GRAMMYs/The Recording Academy New York Chapter with oversight of the GRAMMY Award voting process, as well as, co-produced several GRAMMY member events including The Recording Academy Honors featuring Alicia Keys, Bon Jovi, Stephen Sondheim, and Melissa Etheridge; Head of Event Operations at The Daily Beast; Coordinating Producer at MTV Networks for Jon Stewart’s first ever television show “You Wrote It, You Watch It” and MTV’s first 3-hour live daily variety show “Hangin’ w/MTV”; produced television and radio commercials for Sony Music; served on EMI Music Publishing’s content development team to create the music industry’s first online music licensing web site.

On a personal note, Lorena is an accomplished vocalist and voiceover artist. Also, she’s a certified Reiki Master and Integrated Energy Therapy Practitioner dedicated to helping people and animals benefit from the holistic modality of energy healing with a program she developed called TUNE-INsight.
